Gain mastery over every type of Multiple Choice and Free Response Questions in the subjects of Electrostatics and Electrostatics with Conductors, Capacitors, Dielectrics that you are likely to find in the forthcoming AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism exam.
  • The Multiple Choice questions are divided into the following topics that coincide with those specified in the Course Framework updated by the College Board
    1.
Charge and Coulomb's Law (14 must-know questions).

2. Electric Field and Electric Potential plus 3. Electric Potential Due to Point Charges and Uniform Fields (22 must-know questions).

4 Gauss's law (18 must-know questions).

5. Fields and potentials of other charge distributions (8 must-know questions).

6. Electrostatics with Conductors (12 must-know questions).

7. Capacitors (11 must-know questions).

8. Dielectrics (5 must-know questions).

In addition to 90 Multiple Choice questions mentioned above, we have also included 10 AP-level Free Response Questions.
These Multiple Choice and Free Response Questions listed in the first part of the book are each followed by Answer Key and Detailed Explanations in the second part of the book.
For answering the Physics C exam questions, students require a far deeper understanding of the concepts as compared to other easier exams. Keeping this in mind, explanations include, at appropriate places, complete derivations of the result being used to arrive at the answer. This will also help students recall an important component of the theory part that they would have studied otherwise.
Even though the book is designed for AP Physics C exam, it can be equally useful for students taking calculus-based Physics courses.
