Two Sundays: November 1 and 8, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Online Class.

$70.00 (10% off for members)

Bernardine Evaristo, the first Black woman to win the Booker Prize, paints a broad picture of the lives of twelve different characters that mostly identify as Black women living in the UK in her novel Girl, Woman, Other. We will discuss how each character is defined by their race, gender, and class identities and how those identities define their lives. Although each chapter can be read almost as a short story about each character, we will track how each character relates to another to create the overall novel. Two Sundays: November 1 and 8, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Online Class.
