Happy-Go-Lucky, by David Sedaris

After publishing several compilations from his diaries, Sedaris here returns to his tried-and-true form, the essay. Many of these pieces examine the pandemic, charting his longing to travel. Others are poignant chronicles of his late father, with whom he and his siblings had a difficult relationship. Despite the challenging times, Sedaris has delivered another wonderful collection.
